Mobile games are just that….. games that can be played on a portable handheld device.

Most mobile games are mainly video based and are highly dependent upon the technologies presented by the device upon which they are played. For example there are networked games and non-networked games that use the device platform to run from.

Some mobile devices are preinstalled with a small selection of mobile games, however many more that are of personal interest to each individual user can be downloaded via the mobile operator’s radio network or can be loaded via an infrared connection, Bluetooth or via a memory card.
